Calentura

Founded in Berlin in spring 2020, Calentura began by organising music and dance events in public spaces, bringing their Latin American roots to the heart of the city. Born from a shared desire to create alternative spaces for diasporas, racialised, and migrant communities, they have worked to build bridges with the local scene and contribute to a more diverse and decentralised cultural landscape in Berlin.

All members are vinyl collectors and DJs, each following their path in exploring their existence and contribution to this earth, yet strongly united by a desire to dance together, nurture their community, and engage in dialogue with their surroundings.
