DJ Trade Trainer is all about playful, joyous, and Black trans* expression. She loves challenging binaries, pushing genre-limits, and subverting her audiences’ expectations. Her work often centers the complexities of desire and the pursuit of self-definition. She draws inspiration from her time spent in Atlanta, Detroit, and Berlin, along with her doctoral studies as a gender scholar.
