New Wave: Some Bizzare Records | Milly Burroughs

With Milly Burroughs

Some Bizzare Records was the independent record label championing future New Wave icons before anyone else had heard of them.

Founded in in 1981, the emergence of the label was announced with the release of 'Some Bizzare Album': a compilation of unsigned bands that includes early recordings from Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, The The, Neu Electrikk, Blancmange and more.

Know for founder Stevo Pearce's eccentric approach and outrageous behaviour, the legends of Some Bizzare are woven into the history of New Wave, but steeped in controversy.
