Mac Thornhill is a Barbadian-born, Canada-raised singer, songwriter, and producer known for his work in boogie, funk, R&B, and dance music. Born in Barbados in 1961, he moved to Canada with his family in 1962. His rich vocal talent and songwriting have earned him recognition, including hits like “Who’s Gonna Ease the Pressure.” Thornhill has also written for other artists — for example, he co-wrote “Hypnotized” by Taste-T-Lips and “Get Away” by Shauna Davis. In addition to being an artist, he founded his own indie label (Nublood Records / MacMac Productions), through which he has continued to release music and nurture talent. His influences include gospel (he was raised in a very musical family) and soul legends like Chaka Khan, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Stevie Wonder. Some of his well-known songs include “No Way to Control It”, and he continues to put out music, combining his classic sound with contemporary production. He just released 2 new singles on Oct 17th - Can You Feel Me (R&B/Hip-Hop) & Take Time for Love (House)..
